Post Prompt #1: "Who was your first favorite group or singer? How old were you at the time? What was important to you about this music?"
My first favorite group (as far as I can remember) was Nsync. I was eight years old, and my two best friends bought the Nsync cd for my birthday. It was important because it was my first cd, which was a big deal at the time, and because my two best friends liked the group, so it was one more thing to link us together.

oh my god! i remember loving nsync too! i loved Bye Bye Bye so much! my friends and i would sing it all the time
Besides the spice girls, backstreet boys and n'sync oh and britney spears were my next favorites. i can just remember making "music videos" and singing to all of there songs. i unfortunately never got to see them in concert which to this day, am not happy about.
Nsync was good but The Backstreet Boys were far better. Far far better. :P
Oh, I remember these guys! I probably have a CD of them roaming somewhere. Probably has accumulated lots and lots of dust by this point!
